If you are interested in applying to be a State Officer, please fill out this application. 

The SkillsUSA Florida State Leadership and Skills Conference will be held in Lakeland, Florida 2015-2017.

In order to participate, students must qualify by attending their Regional Championships. A list of qualifying medalists will be announced this spring.

Registration will open on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 7:00 AM EST and close on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 5:00 PM EST.

A list of approved hotels will be published on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 9:00 AM EST, at www.skillsusafl.orgSchools are responsible for making their own hotel accommodations within the blocks provided. Schools are not permitted to book outside of the State Hotel Blocks. Rates are pre-negotiated and will be published with the list. Schools may not book hotel rooms prior to March 3rd or after March 23rd. Register here: www.skillsusa-register.org

Fees for the State Leadership and Skills Conference will be $110/person. Competitors, observers and advisors will all be responsible for this fee. Payment is due on Friday, April 7, 2017. Checks can be mailed to the State Office. Please make payment arrangements for your hotel directly with the property. Most will require a credit card to hold your reservation.

The majority of events will take place at the Lakeland Center (701 W. Lime Street, Lakeland, FL 33815)

Some events will take place on the campuses of Polk State College (3425 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland, FL 33803) and Traviss Career Center (3225 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland, FL 33803). Additional off-site locations will be utilized as needed.
