Chapter Management Institute

Professional Development for Advisors

Advisors, you are invited to attend the Advisor Meeting and Planning Session (AMPS) and the Chapter Management Institute (CMI), which runs concurrently with Maximize.

At AMPS, we will dig deep into state and national programming for the year, state-level support available, and work in career clusters to evaluate and support our competitions. We will also host the annual Advisor Business Meeting. Lunch is provided and there is NO COST to attend AMPS!

After AMPS, Advisors have the chance to stay for more training and development at CMI. While students are learning their role in chapter operations, advisors will work with SkillsUSA facilitators to develop a toolbox of resources to use in your chapter and classroom. They will leave the conference with incredible ways to ensure their students can reap all the benefits of SkillsUSA participation! Separate tracks are available for new and experienced advisors – check out the conference guide below for more details!
