The SkillsUSA Florida State Leadership and Skills Conference, presented by WareWorks, is the premier CTE event in Florida. The top students in over 100 occupational and technical competitions gather to compete against their peers for the opportunity to advance to the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta each June. These competitions allow students to hone their technical skills, connect with business and industry, and become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders, and responsible community members.

In addition to competitions, students are invited to participate in other conference activities to further their careers and connect with potential future employers. During the Meet the Employer Career Fair, more than 50 local, state, and national companies are recruiting and hiring students for immediate job openings. The Career Expo showcases business and industry partners and their products, services, and career opportunities.

Students must be joined SkillsUSA members prior to February 1 to be eligible for competition.

Students must have their contestant number
and date of birth to access individual scorecards.

Following the Closing and Awards Ceremony, there is a mandatory meeting for all Gold medalists and their advisors to obtain registration information about the National Conference. Information regarding the national conference will also be distributed via the Tuesday Times prior to the state conference.
